The Conservation Genomics Working Group was set up in July 2019, led by Margaret Byrne.
The key activities of the Working Group for the past few months were focused on:
1. Discussing criteria for selecting species complex
2. Drafting and refining an EOI for species complex suggestion. It is anticipated this will be sent out in early 2020 to the plant community.
3. The Conservation Genomics WG will be working closely with the Phylogenomics WG to ensure the data from the conservation genomics aims can be integrated with data generated from the Phylogenomics aim.
